During national science week the Science department organised a science fair on Tuesday 25th March. During the day Y7 students learnt about Health with classroom medic; who taught them to take blood pressure readings, monitor their heart rate using ECG, measure oxygen levels, lung capacity and how phlebotomists take blood from patients. Students from Plaistow, Portway and Southern Road Primary school took part in the science convention.
After school the Agora was turned into a Bazaar where you had, food store, fun fair games, Henna art, jewellery store, face painting, entertainment provided by students and Zumba Fitness. The assembly hall had exciting science practicals from making Rockets, clouds, ice cream, slime, skipping challenge and health theme activities by classroom medics.
