Last week 25 students from Years 7-9 (plus 1 year 11 student) went to see this modern version of Giselle.

This was contemporary in style but the ballerinas wore pointe shoes in Act 2. Cosmina (Year 11 dance student), said

“The dance was amazing, I was not expecting a classical ballet to be so interesting the choreographer did a great ┬ájob in making the old ballet modern, current, interesting and alive.”

This is part of a project which includes a joint workshop with St Angela’s Ursuline School, visits to the ENB’s new building and a visit to see another performance.
